Who is "Rachel"?

Hey all......
For some of you, you might know who I am, but the others, not so much. My name is Rachel and I am a SEN10R (this year). I love to have fun and hang out with my friends. I am LOUD, CRAZY, and ALWAYS FULL OF ENERGY. I am very athletic and love to work out. I was on a competitive gymnastics team (ACE Athletics), for SEVEN (7) years but decided that I was "bored" with it. I went back to what I started before when I was wearing next to nothing, tumbling, stunting, screaming a cheer on the top of my lungs, and looking like a clown with all of the make-up on...GYMNASTICS! I am on the team here at school and absolutely LOVE it!!! My friends, family, and neighbors mean the WORLD to me. I would drop anything in a heart beat to make sure they are ok.

I look forward to learning more about everyone in the class and looking forward to the AMAZING 7th period class we have. :)

A New Beginning...

Finally.....SEN10R year...a new year of high school followed by many mixed emotions. Being a senior, and "top of the school", is very exciting. This year is going to be full of many first for me......here goes nothing! :)

So, I am looking forward to many things...gymnastics season, meeting new people, and going into experiences and opportunities open minded. When my 7th period teacher, Mr. Smith, first introduced himself to the class, we all freaked out a bit. He sat in the front of the class room staring at us, QUIETLY, for five min. Mr. Smith did this to point out that "we are engaging in not just a class about sociology, but a study of sociology and, more important, becoming a sociologist" (SocioSmith, Mr. Smith). I am very interested in seeing what this class, and all my others, have in store and what I am going to take from them.

Please feel free to let me know what you think...:)
